In the “Shop” (Porch)
Ever since I started dreaming about having a small shop at my house, I have been faux staging a section of my porch to see how it feels. Here is that little corner..
So far, I like it. When people want to come by and shop I try to remove the 10 pairs of pink shoes that are littered on the other half of the porch. Sometimes I don’t.
Here are a few close-ups. It’s a combo of fun vintage things I have picked up in my “travels” (around Lynchburg) and things I have re-worked.
Love these new ladders..they are actually flat so that you can hang them on a wall or lean them. So much character! And behind those some seagrass rugs (like the ones I have in my home).
And just to keep it real..right now the other side looks like this…Let’s see what we have…a car seat, chips, garage sale finds waiting to be worked on, frames for a client, and many items that do not fit well in any category.
If I am gonna do this store porch thing for real there will need to be some major changes in here! removing the nasty carpet, painting the brick and adding curtains. Just to name a few.
