Our den is currently undergoing some pretty serious changes. You have seen me talk about this room here and here and now we are changing things up again.

Soon this window will be replaced with french doors (hence the currently discombobulated decorating situation).

And a deck, which is underway, will come off the french doors.

The goal is to make our yard more accessible from our living spaces. Currently to get to our backyard you have to go through the kitchen and the screened in porch, which is no biggie unless you are trying to watch young children while accomplishing anything else inside the house.

This will give us better access to the yard we love! And it will add to our living space. We spend a lot of time outside..eating, reading, playing and swimming in a ghetto $20 kiddie pool.

Soon we will be able to do this with far greater ease!
