The number 5
Fun new item..this guy only cost $4.88 and took about 3 minutes to construct. Here it is! In about 2.5 months this will be the amount of people in my family. Wow.
I added it to my photo/chalkboard wall. I already owned this frame..gave it a quick coat of spray paint and then purchased a number from the address area at Home Depot. Added it to my grouping..and that was it.
The thing that I love about wall displays like this, is, there is no wrong answer. Most items work. The only real thing to keep in mind is the spacing between each item. From frame to frame try to keep the space under 2 inches. This will keep your groupings feeling uniform (even if you want them to be asymmetrical, like I do.) If you have seen displays where the items look like they are floating out in space it’s probably because the frames were not hung close enough together.
As you can see I left my laundry and my husband on the couch for these shots. :) Couldn’t get either to move.
So, we are about to go “5″ and while we don’t have any pictures of Penelope yet, I love having something up to represent her already very real presence in our lives.

My fav #! :) congrats on your growing family.
yeah! can't wait for penny!
Yeah is right!
The thing I love the most about this is that you were REAL and left the laundry (and said husband ;) ) in the shots. Good for you on being transparent and not having to have everything perfect (and yes, I love the wall grouping and number idea, too!).
Thanks Jennifer! Yes..real life is not always as charming as a pciture perfect scene. But..a lot more fun, right? Thanks for being in touch.
Absolutely gorgeous! Your home and family are so incredibly beautiful! Not too much longer and there will be another beautiful little girl to join in the fun!
